Almost Heaven...

Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, Mountain State Brewing Company poured its first beer in September 2005 at its Thomas, WV location.

Mountain State Brewing Co distributes throughout its home state, providing handcrafted ales to Elkins, Morgantown, Snowshoe, Charleston and Weston. The beers are brewed from malted barley, wheat, and fresh hops using original recipes in seven-barrel batches. A traditionally designed and hand-built pub adjoins the brewery in Thomas and serves drafts by the pint over a stone and copper bar.

In September 2008 Brian & Willie added a Brewpub and Restaurant in Deep Creek Lake, MD. Here you can enjoy Mountain State's world class ales, craft artisan flatbreads baked in a wood-fired oven, kegged Sangria on tap and the newest addition - MSBC Root Beer.

In March 2011 Mountain State Brewing Co will be adding a third location in Morgantown, WV. In Morgantown you can enjoy one of their 4 signature ales over a copper top bar. Willie, a master stonemason, carefully constructed the flatbread oven brick by brick.
